Medford library to host 'Learn-a-Palooza'

The services, programs and resources available at local libraries will be showcased from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Medford library, 205 S. Central Ave.

The annual "Learn-a-Palooza" event will boast storytimes, crafts, drumming, magic demonstrations and stations to learn about library services like downloadable e-books, music and genealogy databases. The event is free.

Attendees can enter drawings for prizes provided by the Friends of the Medford Library and the Ashland Friends of the Public Library. Those prizes include a Kindle e-reader and gift certificates to bookstores.
