Doreene Duval Best went home to be with her Lord and Savior September 24, 2013.
Doreene was born October 17, 1928 in Buhl, Idaho, the youngest child of seven girls and two boys. After attending grade school in Buhl the family moved to Southern Oregon where she attended high school in Jacksonville, Ore. In 1943, she met Earl Best and they married November 11, 1945.
In November of 1946, both Doreene and Earl accepted Christ as their personal Savior and a short time later dedicated their lives to full time ministry in Christian service. She was involved in countless ministries. She was a diligent prayer warrior. Nothing touched her in the same way as when someone found the love of Christ, and accepted Him as their Savior. She also was able to recite Bible verses from memory at the drop of a hat, in King James, to help you through the trial you were facing or to answer the question you had.
Her death was preceded by her husband Earl Best. She is survived by her children, Linda Keener, Judy Milton, Douglas Best, and Glen Best; as well as grandchildren, great-grand-children and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
