The Medford Rogues announced that the University of Oregon baseball team will stop in Medford on March 24 for an afternoon workout and public appearance.
The Ducks will be making the stop at Harry & David Field en route to California for games with San Francisco and Stanford.
Tentative scheduling has Oregon practicing at noon with an autograph and fan greeting to follow.
"The Rogues have a very strong connection with the Ducks," Rogues general manager Chuck Heeman said. "Our coach, Josh Hogan, is a former Oregon player and coach, and they've been very good to us in sending players in our first year. George Horton and the staff there have also committed some top-level players to the Rogues for 2014. By the time we see them in March we'll be able to watch some future Rogues on the field. We want to really put on a great show for the Ducks in March, treat them well and make sure our fans get to meet one of the best college baseball teams in the country."
Specific times and ticket prices will be released as the event approaches.
