  • Medford police are looking for a man and woman who allegedly snatched a purse from a woman's shopping cart Thursday as she loaded groceries into her car.
Security cameras at Food 4 Less captured the suspects on tape as they left the store, and police are looking to the public's help in identifying both. Lt. Mike Budreau said the incident happened around noon Thursday. An elderly woman had left her purse in her cart, and police said the two allegedly pilfered it as they walked by.
"It was just a matter of seconds," Budreau said. "The good news is (they) were on video."
The purse contained cash, checks, cards and keys, police said. Anyone who can identify the people in the photos should contact Medford police at 541-774-2240 and ask for Officer Nick Falkenhagen.
