  • ASHLAND — The Medford water polo team picked up a win with a 13-5 decision over Willamette in the Ashland Tournament at Southern Oregon University on Sunday.

  • ASHLAND — The Medford water polo team picked up a win with a 13-5 decision over Willamette in the Ashland Tournament at Southern Oregon University on Sunday.
    Medford received three goals apiece from Blake Bartlett and Bram Gibson. Goalkeeper Geoffrey Pine recorded six blocks and Walker Drew added four for Medford.
    Despite five goals from Cody Schultz, Medford fell short in its second game against South Eugene, which was an 11-8 winner.
    Marissa Drake added two goals and Pine had seven blocks in goal for Medford.
    ASHLAND 13, SOUTH EUGENE 6 — At Ashland, Cole Harding's all-around performance helped navigate Ashland to victory in its tournament.
    Harding recorded four goals, two assist, two steals and a block. Taos Cadarette-Stewart also scored four goals and had two steals.
    Hoku Eggertsen added a goal, four assists, five steals and a block for Ashland while goalie Vincent Wright picked up eight saves.
