Fire tore through two vehicles on a rural Eagle Point property this morning, and firefighters say an investigation into the blaze's cause is inconclusive.

Jackson County Fire District No. 3 responded to a 3 a.m report of a structure fire at a home in the 6000 block of Monta Vista Court. Four engines flocked to the scene and saw the two cars burning instead of a home. Crews were able to knock the blaze down quickly and prevent it from spreading to nearby terrain. No one was hurt.

Both vehicles were total losses, fire officials said.
