    Tristan Akery, Cascade Christian cross country
    The junior won his first race of the season, helping the Challenger boys win their sixth straight district title. He covered 5,000 meters in 16:57.
    Jairo Carillo, South Medford boys soccer
    The senior forward tallied his first hat trick this year in a 5-2 win over Ash¬land. He provided a 2-0 halftime lead with a pair of headers, then tacked on an insurance goal in the 58th minute.
    Amanda Hisey, North Medford girls soccer
    The senior forward had a goal and an assist in a 3-1 Southern Oregon Hybrid win over Roseburg. Her goal came when she stole the ball and carried it to the goal for a low shot.
    Annie Teehan, Rogue River girls soccer
    The sophomore forward scored all three goals for Rogue River in a 3-2 District 4 victory over Illinois Valley. After two first-half goals, she hit the game-winner in the 75th minute.
    Danial White, Ashland football
    The senior quarterback completed 15 of 20 passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns without an interception and ran for 112 yards and a TD to beat Eagle Point 33-17 and finish an unbeaten regular season.
