North's Bixler selected to SOH first team

Panthers land two on second team; Tornado, Comets each have one selected

North Medford landed one player on the first team and one on the second team in Southern Oregon Hybrid volleyball all-star voting.

In a poll of the league's coaches, Black Tornado senior middle blocker Elle Bixler was chosen to the first team.

Second-team choices included North's Emily Carter, a sophomore outside hitter, and South Medford's Sporer sisters, seniors Grace and Claire, who play outside hitter and libero, respectively. Crater's Kesley Strouse, a senior outside hitter, was also on the second team.

Roseburg sophomore Morgan Haskett was the player of the year, and Grants Pass' Cammy Heidegger was named the coach of the year.
