  • Tensions rise as department store owner Mr. Roddlestien and his staff brace themselves for shoppers on Black Friday, the biggest retail sales day of the year. Christmas is right around the corner, and there is no rest for the wicked in this new play written and directed by Peter Wickliffe.
    An opening night gala is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Randall Theatre, 10 Third St., Medford. Gala tickets cost $20 and include hors d'oeuvres, beverages, pre-show entertinment and the premier of "Black Friday."
    The show will run at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, Thursdays through Saturdays, Nov. 14-16 and Nov. 21-23, and 1 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 10, 17 and 24. Tickets cost $12 and can be purchased at online at www.randalltheatre.com or by calling 541-632-3258. Pay-what-you-want tickets are available 30 minutes before showtimes.
