  • La Clinica's Mobile Health Center will add weekly stops at North Medford and South Medford high schools starting in December, offering medical care to students enrolled at the schools.
South Medford students will be able to visit the 40-foot clinic on wheels on Monday mornings, while North Medford High students will be able to visit it on Friday mornings. The mobile center also stops at Phoenix High, at Roosevelt and Wilson elementary schools in Medford, and at several public sites.
At the high school stops, a nurse and nurse practitioner will provide medical care to students. The service will be open to any student at the school, and La Clinica offers discounts to students who meet income guidelines.
Parents and students will have an opportunity to tour the mobile health center and ask questions in two open house tours: one at North Medford High, 1900 N. Keene Way Drive, from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, and one at South Medford High, 1551 Cunningham Ave., from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22.
