  • Justus Saldeen scored the game-winning goal in Southern Oregon's 1-0 overtime triumph against the Seattle Totems in Western States Hockey League action at The RRRink on Saturday.
    Saldeen scored unassisted at the 3:13 mark of OT for the Spartans, who outshot Seattle (6-7), 51-36.
    Both squads were 0-for-6 on powerplays.
    Goalkeeper Ian Dvorak earned the shutout with 36 saves.
    Southern Oregon (3-8) is off until next weekend, when it hosts the Salt Lake City Moose in a three-game series.
