The 11th annual Education, Un Mundo de Oportunidades will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rogue Community College Table Rock Campus, 7800 Pacific Ave., White City.
The one-day conference gives students information on post-secondary education and training opportunities for the workforce. Topics covered will include admissions, academic resume preparation and financial aid applications. RCC students, graduates and community leaders also will attend.
There will be entertainment, music and prize giveaways, and breakfast and lunch will be provided. Migrant family descendant Filiberto Bencomo will be the event's keynote speaker.
The conference is free, but students must register at www.roguecc.edu/ClubLatino/EMO.asp. Registration is limited to 200 attendees and event officials expect the event to fill up quickly. For details, contact RCC admission recruiter Javier De La Mora at 541-245-7722 or at jdelamora@roguecc.edu.
