Helen was born in Mound City, Kans. to G.L. (Bill) Bailey and Myrtle (Fouts) Bailey. She attended school in Southern California, graduating from Montebello High School in 1941. She married Elmo Santillie 20 days after graduation.

In 1947, the family moved to Grants Pass, Ore. to a small ranch on Pickett Creek. She moved to Medford, Ore. in 1961 and worked as a bookkeeper for Trowbridge Electric and Sims Electric for fifteen years.

On May 8, 1971, she married Dale (Jim) Vincent in Carson City, Nev. After retirement they traveled extensively in the North West United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. Helen was a life member of Adarel Chapter #3, Eastern Star. She enjoyed genealogy, dancing, camping, playing pinochle, and her family.

During the last days of her life she renewed her relationship with her Heavenly Father and desired to be baptized. She was baptized November 3, 2013. The Lord peacefully delivered her from all of her pain and she will forever walk with Him.

Ima is survived by her husband, Dale Vincent; sister, Bonnie (Dick) Robison; children, Jerry (Judy) Santillie of Malin, Ore., Richard (Julie) Santillie, and Nancy Santillie, both of Medford, Ore.; step-son, Cliff (Maria) Vincent of Australia; and step-daughter, Gail (Merlin) Bashans of Rogue River, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank Providence Hospice for their gracious, compassionate care and comfort, and Signature Home Health Services for providing Skye and Sarah, very special young women, and Hospice Chaplain, Fred Grewe. Ima and Dale treasured all of their long-time, very loving friends.

Her memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday November 15, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, 2201 N. Phoenix Rd, Medford.
