Ann was born February 6, 1929 to the late Ada Jane and Henry Cox. Ann passed peacefully away October 29, 2013 and was laid to rest at Chapel Hill Garden South Cemetery in Oak Lawn, Ill. November 2, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Starchvick and sister of the late Susie Crane, Ruby Heilman, Bertie Durden, and Grady Cox.

She is survived by her loving sons, Richard (Laurie) Starchvick of Mokena, Ill. and Gerald (Karen) Starchvick of Jacksonville, Ore.; one brother, Joe Cox of Riverdale, Georgia; and one sister, Bernice Youngblood of Winfield, Ala.; grandchildren, Sarah Starchvick of Mokena, Ill., Amber Starchvick of Marseilles, Ill., and Robert and Emmie Starchvick of Jacksonville, Ore.; and great-grandchildren, Devin, Tyler, and Drew.

Ann lived her life with tremendous courage and determination in the face of adversity. She loved time spent with family and friends. She especially loved parties and celebrations. She was an avid reader, devouring bags of books from the Medford Library home delivery service. She will be deeply missed by her family and all of her dear friends at Fountain Plaza Retirement Home in Medford.
