Terry Wayne Coulter of Central Point, Ore. passed away November 9, 2013. Terry was born to parents, Alvin and Dolly Coulter, December 15, 1942 in Medford, Ore. He was a lifetime resident of the Medford area, graduating from Medford High School in 1961.
He married Linda Doran February 14, 1965 and was the father of three outstanding children, the same as father to two others and the grandfather of nine wonderful grandchildren, whom he loved a great deal.
Terry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda; along with daughters, Marci (Ken) Barrett of Talent, Ore., Jennifer (Chad) Eek of Puyallup, Wash.; son, Michael (Deanna) Coulter of Medford, Ore.; and step-son, Shawn (Leslie) Higley of Portland, Ore.; along with seven grandsons; two granddaughters; brothers, Ken (Willie) Coulter of Arizona and Sam (Pam) Coulter of Medford, Ore.; sisters. Margie (Jim) Laviletta of Las Vegas, Nev. and Nola Bell of Port Townsend, Wash.; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Jeannette Lampshire and Joanne Strader.
Terry served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1960 to 1968 reaching the rank of Sergeant First Class before retiring to raise his family. He worked in the forest industry and as a sales representative for various companies before retiring six years ago. He enjoyed camping, four-wheeling and hunting with family and friends and watching various sporting events, especially those involving his children or grandchildren.
Arrangements were made with Memory Gardens, Medford, Ore. A celebration of his life was held in his honor by family and friends.
