Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Mark Justin Hill, 28, of the 700 block of First Street, Phoenix. Medford police Monday arrested Hill on charges of laundering money, manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana and delivery of marijuana. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $50,000 bail.
  • Theft — John Charles Benson, 45, of the 1100 block of South Mountain Avenue, Ashland. Medford police Tuesday arrested Benson on a charge of first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Identity theft — Joe Lloyd Brotton, 45, of the 200 block of Chestnut Street, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Brotton on a charge of identity theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Forgery — Brandy Danjelle Odle, 40, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Odle on a charge of first-degree forgery. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Michael Schettino, 57, of the 5300 block of Coleman Creek Road, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Schettino on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Robbery — Michael Scott Fink, 31, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Fink on charges of third-degree robbery, second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree theft and a probation violation for first-degree burglary. He was lodged in jail on $23,000 bail.
  • Forgery — Nima Sedaghaty Blue, 24, no address known. Medford police Tuesday arrested Blue on charges of possession of more than four ounces of marijuana and nine counts of forgery of an instrument. He was lodged in jail on $100,000 bail.
  • Sex abuse — Dale Wade Wilson, 32, of the 1500 block of Grand Avenue, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Wilson on charges of two counts of first-degree sodomy and two counts of first-degree sex abuse. He was lodged in jail on $80,000 bail.
  • Theft — Tami Lee Lee, 45, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Lee on charges of contempt of court, second-degree theft and first-degree theft. She was lodged in jail on $28,000 bail.
  • Theft — Christopher James Smith, 26, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Smith on charges of first-degree theft and second-degree burglary. He was lodged in jail without bail.

Crime reports

  • Larceny — 900 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:05 p.m. Monday of a theft of a blue Rug Doctor machine and damage to an emergency exit alarm. The loss and damage was valued at $901.
  • Larceny — 400 block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 7:10 p.m. Monday of a theft of three Samsung smart phones. The loss was valued at $1,200.
  • Larceny — 2600 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report at 7:53 Monday of a theft of a large black flat-bed trailer. The loss was valued at $5,000.
  • Burglary — 1300 block of Mt. Pitt Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday of a burglary to a business during which a Hewlett-Packard laptop, Asus laptop, video telephone, ethernet card and set of keys were taken. The loss was valued at $1,500.
  • Vandalism — 200 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 5:42 a.m. Tuesday of vandalism to a window. The broken window was valued at $800.
