    The Four Corners fire started Aug. 30 near the corner of Waldo, Takilma and Happy Camp roads outside Takilma. Locally, the area is known as Four Corners. The fire burned 15 acres of grass, brush and trees, and threatened area homes. The blaze cost $14,572 to combat, drawing seven wildland fire engines, a bulldozer, four helicopters, two air tankers and two 20-person crews.
