Lorene D. Henderson, 93, passed away November 18, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 4, 1919 in Independence, Kans. to John B. Denney and Mary Lucy Rothrock-Denney. She married John C. Henderson June 5, 1938 in Independence, Kans.

Lorene had a career with Harry & David in customer service and as Office Manager of Henderson Real Estate, Inc. She enjoyed playing the organ, knitting, crocheting and sewing. She was part of Aderel Chapter #3, O.E.S. from 1972 to present, Worthy Matron 1978-1979, American Legion Auxiliary for 40 years, past President and Convention Chairman, Southern Oregon Community Service Corporation for 20 years, and Post Chairman of the Poppy Production of Camp White.

She is survived by her children, Karen S. Fader, John C. (Midi) Henderson II, and Richard M. Henderson; grandchildren, Becki (Darrell) Fader-Zwiefelhofer, Angie (Scott) Fader-Hoernke, Marty (Amey) Jones, MD., Sandy Delozier, Angie (Chris) Rapp, and Aimee (Brian) Maddera; and great-grandchildren, Andrew Zwiefelhofer, Jason Hoernke, Ciara Hoernke, Kyle Jones, Ryan Jones, Keimi Jones, Eri Jones, Brandon Johnson, Maleah Johnson, Jason Johnson, Crystal Henderson, Ethan Rapp, Austin Maddera, and Jessica Maddera.

A memorial service is planned for June of 2014 and Rev. Mike Foster, of First Presbyterian Church of Phoenix, will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, OR.
