Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Casey Nathaniel Brooks, 33, of the 600 block of Holly Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Brooks on charges of possession of methamphetamine, delivery of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, delivery of heroin, third-degree theft and a parole violation for attempting to elude. He was lodged Saturday in the Jackson County Jail on $50,000 bail, with no bail on the parole violation.
  • Theft — Jessica Carlotta Axtell, 27, of the 600 block of Holly Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Axtell on charges of third-degree theft and a probation violation for possession of methamphetamine. She was booked Saturday into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Drugs, theft — Lacey Jane Bryant-Lovrin, 25, no known address. Medford police Saturday arrested Bryant-Lovrin on charges of third-degree theft and possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged Saturday in jail on $28,000 bail.
  • Theft — Raymond Lloyd Young, 30, no known address. Medford police Saturday arrested Young on charges of third-degree theft and a probation violation for failure to register as a sex offender. He was lodged Saturday in jail on $3,000 bail, with no bail on the probation violation.

Crime reports

  • Theft — 100 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 2:09 a.m. Saturday of a theft of a Louis Vatton brown purse. The loss was valued at $1,000.
  • Theft — 800 block of Stewart Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:35 a.m. Saturday of a theft of an Essex silver floor polisher. The loss was valued at $1,475.
