LA QUINTA, Calif. — Jason Allred shot a final-round score of 1-under-par 71 at Q-school for the Web.com Tour at PGA West.
He tied for 95th place, meaning he'll have conditional status on the tour in 2014. The Ashland native will be able to enter tournaments when openings allow.
This was the first year that Q-school only offered status on the PGA Tour's secondary circuit.
Allred ended up with a 4-under score of 428 for the six-day tournament. His best round was a 5-under 67 on Day 2. Three of his rounds were even par.
In the final round on the Tournament Course, Allred had four birdies, a bogey and a double bogey.
Zack Fischer closed with a 64 to earn top status on the tour for 2014. Fischer finished at 31-under 401. As the medalist, he is assured entry into every Web.com event.
Scott Pinckney shot a 68 to finish second. Pinckney and the other players in the top 10 will have full status through 12 tournaments. After that, the priority ranking will be reshuffled depending on the money list.
Players who finished between 11th and 45th do not face the reshuffle until after the eighth event. Sam Saunders, the grandson of Arnold Palmer, tied for 11th.
