North Medford senior Tristen Holmes made the honorable mention list for his accomplishments as a defensive back.
Bennett, who had 54 catches for 818 yards and nine touchdowns during the regular season, was a first-team Southwest Conference selection for the Comets (3-8). He had six receptions for 117 yards with two TD grabs (27 and 16 yards) in Crater's 56-21 loss to Jesuit in the first round of the 6A playoffs in November.
Hermansen was a first-team SWC offensive and defensive selection, getting the nod as an offensive tackle and defensive lineman for the Black Tornado (10-2).
Holmes, a cornerback, was a first-team SWC pick on defense and was a second-team receiver.
Central Catholic collected the biggest state honors, with senior running back Ryan Nall claiming offensive player of the year honors and defensive lineman Connor Humphreys taking home the defensive player of the year award. Central Catholic's Steve Pyne was named coach of the year.
