Felony arrests

  • Theft — Theodore Daniel Rumsey, 26, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Rumsey on six counts of first-degree theft. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
  • Drugs — Cathleen Gene Reeves, 58, of the 1000 block of West McAndrews Road, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Reeves on charges of possession of methamphetamine and improper use of 911. She was lodged Tuesday in jail and released because of overcrowding.
  • Assault — Miguel Angel Lomas Jr., 32, of the 1100 block of Mt. Pitt Street, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Lomas on charges of felony fourth-degree assault and two counts of harassment. He was lodged Tuesday in jail and released after posting bail.
  • Drugs — Brian David Kenton, 36, of the 300 block of South Second Street, Talent. Talent police Tuesday arrested Kenton on charges of possession of methamphetamine and felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged Tuesday in jail on $20,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Amy Renee Howard, 25, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Howard on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged Tuesday in jail without bail.

Crime reports

  • Burglary — 1100 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 4:09 p.m. Monday of a burglary to a residence during which a Marshall instrument amplifier was taken. The loss was valued at $1,500.
  • Burglary — 2500 block of Fontaine Court, Medford. Medford police took a report at 1:34 p.m. Tuesday of a burglary to a residence during which a Garmin GPS, a gun safe, three flashlights, a Bluetooth speaker, a laptop, an ax and a water filter system were taken. The loss was valued at $2,000.
  • Theft — 2400 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday of a theft of miscellaneous household item. The loss was valued at $1,331.
