December 25, 1913

Preparations have been going on for some time in the Presbyterian Sunday school in drilling the pupils in the rendition of the Christmas cantana, "Santa Claus at Miss Prim's" which will be given at the church this evening. The scene of the cantana is laid in the classroom of Miss Prim's boarding school, where the children have been kept over the Christmas holidays owing to the destruction of the railroad bridge. Miss Prim, who is opposed to the Santa Claus idea, forbids the pupils to enter into any Christmas festivities, and there is much gloom surrounding the boarding school when Santa Claus, the real, genuine Santa, suddenly arrives on the scene to the delight of all. The cantana abounds with many solos and choruses, which are taken by some of the best singers in the Sunday school.
