Shirley Ann Brown, 87, of Medford, Ore. passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Providence Hospital. Shirley was born Shirley Ann Tisher in Cleveland, Ohio.
On April 16, 1946 she married Everard K. Brown and moved to Oregon.
She worked as an accountant/office manager in the lumber industry for many years. She also worked at the Lions Sight and Hearing.
She belonged to the Lions organization for years. She was a volunteer at Dogs for the Deaf and Providence Hospital, which she enjoyed very much in her later years.
Survivors included a sister, Deena Lake of South Carolina; a daughter, Sherry (Bob) Hubbard of Medford, Ore.; grandchildren, Rob Hubbard of Medford, Ore., Rich Hubbard of Lacey, Wash., and Randy Hubbard of Eagle Point, Ore.; seven great-grandchildren; and the love of her life, her pet, Flossie. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and her husband, Ed Brown, who passed in 1989.
She requested no services. Any contributions may be made to the Dogs for the Deaf.
