Felony arrests

  • Fugitive — Jessica Irene Pearson, 24, no known address. Talent police Monday arrested Pearson on a fugitive warrant out of California as well as contempt of court. She was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
  • Hit and run — Benjamin Dean Pope, 20, of the 2900 block of Candlis Point Court, Medford. Pope made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of hit-and-run driving. He was booked Monday in jail and released.

Crime reports

  • Theft — 2100 block of East McAndrews Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 5:22 a.m. Monday of a theft from a vehicle from which a Nikon D90 camera and lenses, a laptop, an iPad and other items were stolen. The loss was valued at $2,450.
  • Theft — 1200 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:06 a.m. Monday of the theft of two cell phones, a purse, jewelry, a wallet and other items. The loss was valued at $1,085.
