Phoenix alumni tilt Saturdayto benefit Special Olympics

There will be an alumni basketball game for the Phoenix High boys program at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the school.

The game is a benefit for Special Olympics and is being organized as a senior project by Baylee Toney, a player on the Pirates' girls team. At halftime, Special Olympians will play a short exhibition game.

Eighteen former Phoenix players have committed to participate. The teams will be coached by Kevin Dixon and Steve Goodkin.

Admission cost is $4 for adults and $2 for students.
