Felony arrests

  • Identity theft — Garret Alan Ledford, 19, of the 1600 block of Kings Highway, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Ledford on charges of identity theft, first-degree theft and first-degree forgery. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail and released because of overcrowding.
  • Drugs — Trent Adrian Long-Moseley, 23, of the 100 block of Pioneer Street, Ashland. Ashland police Sunday arrested Long-Moseley on charges of possession of methamphetamine and contempt. He was lodged Sunday in jail on $10,000 bail.
  • Burglary — Tania Marie Boyd, 26, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Boyd on two counts of first-degree burglary, one count of first-degree theft and third-degree criminal mischief and for failing to appear on two previous theft charges. She was lodged Monday in jail on $122,000 bail.
  • Sex offender registration — Kacey Allen Smith, 24, of the 1000 block of Olympic Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Smith on two counts of failing to register as a sex offender, contributing to the sexual delinquency of another and for failing to appear on previous drug and burglary charges. He was lodged Monday in jail on $55,000 bail.

Crime reports

  • Vandalism — First block of Kenwood Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 4:21 p.m. Sunday of vandalism to a vehicle, which had a dented roof. The loss was valued at $750.
  • Theft — 900 block of Mason Way, Medford. Medford police took a report at 2:14 a.m. Monday of the theft of 12 tires, chrome racing rims, a tailgate and taillights. The loss was valued at $3,100.
