  • BUTTE FALLS — Evan Givens had his 12th double-double of the season and Alex Cool-Hunsaker his first to lead Butte Falls to a 44-35 win over Prospect in Mountain Valley League action Wednesday.
    Givens had 10 points and 14 rebounds and Cool-Hunsaker 16 points and 11 boards, and the duo scored 12 of the Loggers' 16 first-quarter points to help them take control early. Emmitt Bateman added eight points, three assists and three steals for Butte Falls (7-8, 3-3 MVL), which snapped a three-game losing streak.
    Prospect (2-12, 1-6) was led by Matt Rader, who was the only player for the Cougars in double figures with 16 points.

    PROSPECT 58, BUTTE FALLS 44 — At Butte Falls, Hannah Bailey had 22 points and 14 rebounds and Halee Hedgpeth added 17 points and eight steals for Prospect in Mountain Valley League action.
    Baley VanWormer chipped in 13 points, six rebounds and four steals for the Cougars, who used an 11-3 run in the third quarter to pull away.
    Torri Lilly had 14 points and six rebounds, Katie Munsell 11 points and Brandi O'Keefe seven points and 10 rebounds for Butte Falls.

    NORTH MEDFORD 6, KLAMATH FALLS 2 — Dylan Wu had three goals and Josh Wu added a goal and four assists to help North Medford improve to 7-0 at The RRRink.
    Mikaen Magee and Max Henry both scored for the Black Tornado, which led 2-0 after the first period and 5-1 after the second.
    North goalkeeper Calvinn Casaday made 15 saves.
