Guest rabbi speaks at Temple Emek Shalom

Maurice D. Harris, author of "Moses: A Stranger Among Us" and "Leviticus: You Have No Idea," will offer a d'var torah titled "Meeting Moses Again for the First Time" during the service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Temple Emek Shalom, 1800 E. Main St.

St. Mark's Episcopal schedules Sunday events

Worship services will be held at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 140 N. Oakdale Ave., Medford. Children will meet at 10 a.m. in the parish hall for a celebration of the Feast of the Presentation.

Christ Unity Church sermon: 'Omnipresence'

Rev. Rob Wheeler will give a sermon on "Omnipresence" at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, at Christ Unity Church, 540 N. Holly St., Medford.

Trinity Episcopal holds one morning service

Because of an annual report meeting, there will be only one service celebrating Holy Eucharist Rite II at Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 N. Second St., Ashland. It will be at 9 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2. A contemplative eucharist service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the church.
