  • U.S. Bank has promoted wholesale banking team relationship manager Blair Sundell to vice president. Sundell works with middle- and large-size manufacturers, service industry and commercial real estate clients out of the downtown Medford office.
    Sundell has been with U.S. Bank since 2008 and is a graduate of Southern Oregon University with a bachelor's degree in finance and economics.
    The Mercy Flights Board has appointed Doug Stewart chief executive officer for the nonprofit air ambulance and transport service. He succeeds Ken Parsons, retiring CEO. Stewart has worked at Mercy Flights for 19 years in various roles, most recently as chief operations officer. The Mercy Flights' executive management team includes: Amy Hall, chief financial officer succeeding Cathy Parsons, and Tim James, chief operations officer.
    Oregon Pacific Bank named Casey Stewart vice president and commercial relationship manager for its Medford office. The bank began its presence in Medford by opening up a Trust and Wealth Management Office there 2012, out of which is offered trustee and trust administration, investment management and estate planning and settlement services.
    Stewart has more than 10 years of financial experience beginning with Beehive Federal Credit Union in Rexburg, Idaho in 2003. Since then he has been with U.S. Bank in Grants Pass, PremierWest Bank in Medford and Grants Pass, and Home Federal Bank in Medford and Grants Pass. Most recently he was an assistant vice president and commercial relationship manager for Home Federal Bank.
    Genworth Financial's Seattle-based Pacific Northwest Agency, which includes a Rogue Valley office, has been ranked as the top-performing regional office for Genworth in 2013.
    Genworth is a Fortune 250 financial services company and the largest provider of long-term care insurance in the U.S. This was the second consecutive year for the Northwest office to receive the top ranking.
    Cheryl Baumgarten is the long-term care career agent for Genworth's Rogue Valley office. She was ranked fourth in her class nationwide for 2013 and in the top 100 of all the Genworth agents in the country.
