SISTERS — Jacksonville resident Shane Sevcik set Oregon records for Olympic weightlifting on Saturday.

The 35-year-old Sevcik, who weighs 242 pounds, recorded a 112-kilogram (247-pound) snatch and 150-kilogram (331-pound) clean and jerk in his age division. His 262-kilogram total is the highest ever by a Masters athlete at any weight.
