    "TICKET TO RIDE": Celebrate winter with Warren Miller's "Ticket to Ride," the newest chapter in the legendary film series that takes filmgoers on action-packed journeys with the world's best skiers and snow-boarders. Witness athletes at their career-best, and discover the paths that put them at the top of the steepest peaks in the 64th annual ski and snowboard film. The movie starts at 7 p.m. at Southern Oregon University's Music Recital Hall in Ashland. Tickets cost $12 at the door.

    STAMP SHOW: The Southern Oregon Philatelic Society will hold its monthly meeting Thursday, Feb. 6, at the St. Mary's High School Library, 816 Black Oak Drive, Medford.
