  • (Green) Titus
Frances Josephine (Green) Titus passed away February 1, 2014 at her home at Rogue Valley Manor after living with Alzheimers for 17 years. She was born July 27, 1922 in Scotts Bluff, NE to James and Katherine (Kuntz) Green. After a move to Torrington, WY, her family eventually settled in Oakland, CA where she graduated from Castlemont High School in 1940. Shortly afterward she met the love of her life, Forrest Titus, and they were married in 1941. They had a blessed union until Forrest passed away in 1996. They lived several years in Watsonville, San Jose, and Grass Valley, CA. Frances later moved to Medford, OR to be close to family.
Forrest and Frances traveled across the U.S. and into Canada in their motorhome, also visiting Europe, the Holy Land, England, Hawaii, and China. They loved to travel but their priority was always home and family.
Frances leaves three children, Linda (Dallas) Rhoden, Cathy Thompson, and Dave (Sonja) Titus; grandchildren, Kelsey and Kimberly Titus, Brandon (Marla) Parks, Ryan (Kate) Rhoden, Jeff (DeAnna) Rhoden and Mark and Jennifer (Rhoden) McMurray; 11 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Frank Green and Russell Armstrong.
"The Christian home is the Master's workshop where the processes of character molding are silently, lovingly, faithfully, and successfully carried on." (Richard Monckton Milnes) This was evident in her home and all that her life touched! We are thankful she was ours!
