Theft — Matthew Ryan Pierpoint, 27, of the 100 block of North Orange Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Pierpoint on charges of first-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released because of overcrowding.
Theft — Kristin Nicole Parashism, 27, of the 4000 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Parashism made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court for charges of second-degree theft, third-degree theft and four counts of manufacturing a bad check. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
Drugs — Rhonda Louise Stevens, 49, of the 1400 block of Larson Creek Drive, Medford. Stevens made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court for charges of possession of methamphetamine, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. She was booked into jail and released because of overcrowding.
Rape — Christian Lee Nelson, 20, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Nelson on two counts of third-degree rape, two counts of third-degree sodomy, second-degree assault, a probation violation for possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear on charges of resisting arrest and interfering with a police officer. He was lodged in jail on $1,024,000 bail.
Theft, warrant — Bria Jill Anderson, 23, of Canyonville. Jackson County Sheriff's deputies Tuesday arrested Anderson on a warrant for six counts of first-degree theft. She was lodged in jail on $60,000 bail.
Burglary, theft — Anthony Paul Mathis, 19, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Mathis on charges of second-degree burglary and two counts of first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail on $15,000 bail.
Theft — 1200 block of North Modoc Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 11:14 a.m. Monday of a theft of three nail guns, as well as a router, framing hammer, skill saw, and Bluetooth device. The loss was valued at $1,918.
Burglary— 1200 block of East McAndrews, Medford. Medford police took a report at 5:42 a.m. Tuesday of a burglary to a business during which a cash register and filing cabinet were taken. A window was also broken. The loss was valued at $800.
Theft — 1100 block of Gardendale Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday of a theft of a leaf blower and two hedge trimmers. The loss was valued at $1,450.
