Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Harold Floyd Payne Jr., 38, of the 4200 block of Merita Terrace, Central Point. Medford police Tuesday arrested Payne on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of hydrocodone, delivery of methamphetamine and a parole violation for attempting to elude. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
  • Burglary — Donald Blake Byers, 23, of the 600 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Byers on charges of first-degree burglary, fourth-degree felony assault, endangering and harassment. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Assault, drugs — Travis Evan Thomson, 32, no known address. Talent police Wednesday arrested Thomson on charges of first-degree assault, second-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, possession of heroin, delivery of heroin, manufacturing heroin, three counts of felon in possession of a weapon, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, harassment, coercion and pointing a firearm at another person. He was lodged in jail on $2,092,000 bail.
  • Theft — Buddy Kerry James Rawles White, 31, no known address. Medford police Wednesday arrested White on charges of second-degree theft, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, third-degree criminal mischief and failure to appear on charges of contempt of court and providing false information to a police officer. He was lodged in jail on $23,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Robert Cecil Montgomery, 33, of the 200 block of Antelope Road, White City. Montgomery made his initial appearance Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of oxycodone. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Burglary — Nickolas Lee McClure, 24, no known address. Medford police Wednesday arrested McClure on a charge of first-degree burglary. He was lodged in jail without bail.
