1924 ~ 2014
Alice Fauble, 89, passed away into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, to her heavenly home on Saturday, February 1, 2014.
Alice is survived by son, Chris Baker of Springfield, Ore.; and three step-sons, Bruce (Desiree) Fauble of Gold Hill, Ore.; Robert (Patty) Fauble of Rocklin, Calif., and Brad (Dawn) Fauble of West Sacramento, Calif.
Alice was born in Wayland, Kentucky on March 11, 1924 and always valued and lived by the "old fashioned" standards she learned as a child.
To know Alice was to love her, as she never turned her back to anyone in need. Alice loved life. Alice also loved animals, nature, old black and white movies, and became an accomplished painter in her senior years.
Alice was preceded in death by her son, Greg Baker; and her husband, Cliff Fauble, who was a WWII veteran.
Alice's favorite holiday was Christmas and she always tried to carry the spirit of Christmas throughout the whole year. She devoted much of her time to the Lions Club, trying to help others.
Alice was born to Lola and Tom Sexton and worked for the City of Medford as a secretary for many years.
Alice will be sorely missed by all who knew her. "Not lost in memory! Not lost to love! But gone to our Father's house above."
A memorial service will be held on her 90th birthday, March 11, 2014 at Trail Christian Fellowship, 1881 Hwy. 62, Eagle Point, at 11:00 a.m. in the Fireside room. All are invited to come and celebrate Alice's life.
