Felony arrests

  • Theft — Bradley Lewis Maerz, 26, no permanent address. Central Point police arrested Maerz late Thursday on four counts of first-degree theft and charges of second-degree theft and criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $35,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Rebecca Carberry, 46, of Bakersfield, Calif. Medford police arrested Carberry early Friday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail on $50,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Thomas David Porter Jr., 41, of Bakersfield, Calif. Medford police arrested Porter early Friday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail on $50,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Patrick Anthony Flores, 45, of Bakersfield, Calif. Medford police arrested Flores early Friday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail on $50,000 bail.
  • Theft — Justin Jon Crutchfield, 26, of Carlton. Crutchfield appeared Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with three counts of first-degree theft and one count of first-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in jail and released.
  • Drugs — Brittany Lee Hayes, 27, of the 800 block of Redwood Avenue, Butte Falls. Medford police arrested Hayes on Friday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, as well as warrants alleging she failed to appear in Circuit Court on charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment and contempt. She was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Drugs — Jacob Tristan Asay, 30, of the 1700 block of Sandstone Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Asay on Friday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and a warrant alleging he failed to appear in court on a charge of second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Drugs — Jessica Lee Fay, 27, of the 1700 block of Sandstone Drive, Medford. Fay appeared in Circuit Court Friday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was booked in jail and released.

Crime reports

  • Vandalism — 1400 block of Spring Street, Medford. Medford police Friday took a report of a large dent in the driver's side of a vehicle. The damage was estimated at $1,200.
  • Vandalism — 2900 block of Seckel Street, Medford. Medford police Friday took a report of vandalism to three juniper plants with an estimated value of $1,500.
