    Chris Prewitt from Weeks Roses will talk to the Rogue Valley Rose Society about "What's New in Roses," and Joan Foley will lead a discussion about sentimental roses. Visitors are welcome.

    rogue valley woodwind quintet

    Flutist Penny Austin, oboist Kristin Kessler, clarinetist Marla Kasdorf, bassoonist Karen Basin and horn player Linda Harris will perform music by Bozza, Nielsen, Heiden and D'Rivera.

    Satirical songwriter Roy Zimmerman will perform tunes about the government shutdown, marijuana laws, fracking, creationism, guns, taxes and abstinence. Zimmerman often plays in some of the least progressive areas in America for the most progressive people there, calling them the "blue dots."
