Felony arrests

  • Assault — Guy Malotte, 38, no known address. Medford police Wednesday arrested Malotte on charges of third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
  • Theft — Ariana Raymond Behee, 28, no known address. Medford police Wednesday arrested Behee on a charge of third-degree theft. She was lodged in jail and released because of overcrowding.
  • Drugs — Joshua Ryan Brewer, 26, of the 3400 block of Rogue River Highway, Gold Hill. Medford police Thursday arrested Brewer on charges of possession of marijuana, contempt of court, carrying a concealed weapon and felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in jail on $11,000 bail.
  • Assault — Joshua David Powell, 20, no known address. Phoenix police Thursday arrested Powell on charges of second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, menacing and harassment. He was lodged in jail on $170,000 bail.
  • Assault — Robert Craig Roe, 46 of the 20400 block of Highway 62, Shady Cove. Roe made his initial appearance Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court for charges of third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Identity theft — Gary Keith Wobig, 63, of the 1000 block of Woodrow Lane, Medford. Wobig made his initial appearance Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court for a charge of identity theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Theft — Eric Van Ramirez, 22, of Jeanette Avenue, Medford. Ramirez made his initial appearance Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court for a charge of second-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Assault — Keenan Anthony Montsdeoca, 33, of the 800 block of Taylor Street, Medford. Montsdeoca made his initial appearance Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court for charges of third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Theft — Matthew Joe McGuire, 40, of Grants Pass. McGuire made his initial appearance Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court for charges of third-degree theft and carrying a concealed weapon. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Jennifer Lynn Jewett, 36, no known address. Medford police Thursday arrested Jewett on two counts of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail on $35,000 bail.
  • Theft — Melissa Rene Worden, 47, no known address. Medford police Thursday arrested Worden on a charge of second-degree theft. She was lodged in jail on $1,000 bail.

Crime reports

  • Theft — 1600 block of Alexis Way, Medford. Medford police took a report at 6:37 a.m. Wednesday of a theft from a motor vehicle during which telephone equipment and miscellaneous tools were taken. The loss was valued at $1,130.
  • Theft — 1800 block of Windward Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 1:07 p.m. Wednesday of a theft from a motor vehicle during which a backpack, headphones and miscellaneous clothes were taken. The loss was valued at $805.
  • Theft — 500 block of Plum Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 7:37 a.m. Thursday of a theft from a motor vehicle during which 50 compact discs and a compact disc case was taken. The loss was valued at $756.
  • Theft — First block of Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at noon Thursday of a theft of an acoustic guitar. The loss was valued at $6,000.
