Allen, RVA take home top MVL accolades

Rogue Valley Adventist senior Caleb Allen was named the Mountain Valley League most valuable player for a third straight year in recent voting by coaches.

The 6-foot-3, 170-pound senior has helped lead the Red Tail Hawks to a 20-3 overall record and undefeated mark in league play at 11-0. RVA will next host a second-round Class 1A state playoff game Saturday.

RVA's Mike Glasgow and Butte Falls' Kim Horn were awarded co-coach of the year recognition. For Glasgow, it is the third straight season he's been given the honor.

Butte Falls' Evan Givens and Emmitt Bateman landed first-team recognition.
