  • The Crater Rock Museum will teach children about fossils from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at 2002 Scenic Ave., Central Point.
    Kids will learn about what fossils are and what they look like. They will also be able to see actual fossils, along with the museum's most recent exhibit Pterry the Pterosaur, a replica of the skeletal remains of a flying dinosaur.
    Children get in to the museum for free. Adults get in for $5, and seniors get in for $3. Call 541-664-6081 for more information or visit www.craterrock.com.
