Felony arrests

  • Drugs, theft — Austin Glenn Christmas, 19, of the 3700 block of Payne Road, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Christmas on charges of possession of heroin, two counts of first-degree theft and carrying a concealed weapon. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Donald Reed Crawford, 50, of the 500 block of Austin Street, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Crawford on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.

Crime reports

  • Theft — 2000 block of Lars Way, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:21 a.m. Tuesday of a theft of a 50-inch Viso TV. The loss was valued at $2,100.
  • Theft — 1800 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:27 a.m. Tuesday of a theft of miscellaneous hunting equipment. The loss was valued at $1,099.
  • Theft — 500 block of South Fir Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 5:28 a.m. Tuesday of a theft of Pabst beer, cat food, a Camel cigarette clock, a case of Pepsi, miscellaneous hand tools, an antique wagon wheel and a bird cage. The loss was valued at $1,088.
  • Burglary — 400 block of South Grape Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 2:41 p.m. Tuesday of a burglary to a residence during which a washer and dryer were taken. The loss was valued at $1,300.
  • Theft — 900 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 4:51 p.m. Tuesday of a theft of a sofa, washer and dryer and Xbox. The loss was valued at $1,531.
