The duo — Ambur Rose and Luci Bedell — is set to release its new CD, "Little Lovely Layla." The album tells the story of Layla, a girl who offers to go get beer for a party but ends up going on a journey with a man she meets along the way. "It's a story about finding opportunity in the moment and seeing where life takes you when you chose to do the unexpected — for good and bad," Bedell says.
Roses and Whiskey will hold its CD-release party at 10 p.m. Friday, March 14, at Lounge South, 66 Pioneer St., Ashland. The cover is $5.
