The Japanese Association of Southern Oregon will host its third annual fundraising event benefitting the victims of the Fukushima earthquake. At 4 p.m., appetizers will be served and an exhibit titled "Tohoku and Fukushima: Now" will be available for viewing. At 5 p.m., a traditional Japanese bento box dinner will be served. Performances include a Kimono fashion show, Taiko drumming, traditional Japanese singing and more. All profits will benefit the Fukushima Board of Education and Aiikuen, an orphanage in Fukushima.

An organ concert featuring members of the Southern Oregon Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, including Don Corbett, Margaret Evans, Leslie Lundberg, Linda McGuire, Ginni Peterson, Donna Swanson and pianist Jane Manning will celebrate the life of the late Bob Bullwinkel. A reception will follow.

Guitarist Pavlo Simtikidis plays a Mediterranean sound that mixes folk styles from Greece and Spain with pop sensibiities. Out of his nine albums, he has two gold-selling recordings to his credit: "Fantasia" and "Pavlo." His live shows feature a full band, classic favorites and originals.
