Civic involvement: Hosted an Italian exchange student, host and performer for a CASA benefit concert, assistant teacher at ABK Kids' Tae Kwon Do, bell ringer for Salvation Army

Leadership: Student government Senior Senator, Chamber Youth Leadership Seminar, NMHS Link Crew Leader, Junior Camp Counselor for SOU Academy

Future plans: Attend college with a major in law or business management and minor in theater or public relations. She hopes to find a career interacting with the public and intends to remain involved in her community helping others.

Editor's note: Eight Jackson County high school seniors have been nominated by their schools to compete for the title of queen of the 2014 Pear Blossom Festival. The queen will be chosen during the 24th annual Senior Royalty Scholarship Pageant, to be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 29, in the North Medford High School auditorium. Each of the nominated princesses will be featured here prior to the pageant.
