Four young women are competing in the 2014 Miss Rogue Valley Scholarship Pageant, set for 7 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Cascade Christian High School, 855 Chevy Way, Medford.

Tickets are $10 pre-sale and $13 at the door.

The four contestants will vie for Miss Rogue Valley 2014 and Miss Rogue Valley's Outstanding Teen 2014. They are:

Hope Robinson, senior and honors student at Grants Pass High School. Brianna Lee, Southern Oregon University freshman majoring in political science and sociology. Katelyn Zimmerer, junior at Cascade Christian High School. Emma Gaut, eighth-grade student at McLoughlin Middle School.

For more than 50 years, the Women's Scholarship Foundation of the Rogue Valley, a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization, has sponsored the Miss Rogue Valley Scholarship Pageant. The pageant provides $13,000 in scholarships to young women in Jackson and Josephine counties and is the first step to the Miss America stage.
