Ronald Ray Lundberg passed away March 14, 2014, in Medford, Ore. He was 79.
Ron was born August 11, 1934, to Harold and Thelma Lundberg in Mt. Vernon, Wash. On June 23, 1962, he married Roxy Lee (Huff) in Pullman, Wash. In 1962, after a successful career in the Marine Corps, he embarked on a career in retail management at Sears. Ron retired in 1993. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, spending his free time fishing, duck hunting, golfing, and playing senior soft baseball.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Roxy Lee; his sons, Michael (Kathy) and Ronald Lee (Nita Ann); brother, Dick (Marlene); grandchildren, Isaiah, Elijah, Gideon, and Sarah; step-grandsons, Brent and Derrek; niece, Cindy Inch; and his nephew, Rich. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his grandson, Noah Deen Lundberg.
A viewing will be held at 3:00 p.m. Satruday, March 22, 2014 at Perl Funeral Home. Ron will be interred at Eagle Point National Cemetery Monday, March 24, 2014. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Perl Funeral Home. Pastor Tom Inch of the Coeur d'Alene, Ida., Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Those who wish to attend are encouraged to wear casual clothes in WSU colors (gray and maroon) in memory of Ron.
