    POWER UP: The Medford airport will unveil a sundial-inspired sculpture to recognize Pacific Power customers for their Blue Sky funding, which helped pay for the installation of solar panels at the airport. The unveiling of the piece on the traffic island in front of the terminal is set for 1:30 p.m. The event celebrates the completion of the second phase of adding solar panels at the airport. The panels can generate 25 kilowatts of power and help protect travelers from sun and rain, officials said.

    LIBRARY LIMBO: The library catalog and circulation system at all Jackson County Library branches will be unavailable to the public today through Wednesday, March 27, because of a system upgrade. The libraries will be open during regular hours and patrons will be able to borrow material, provided they have their library card with them. Internet workstations will be available.

    TED TALKS LIBRARIES: The monthly TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) Talk features a speech given by Neil Gaiman on the importance of reading and of libraries for the future of the world. Two TED Talk videos about books and libraries will also be shown. These talks explore what books and libraries will look like in the future and how important they may be. The event will be from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Adams Room of the Medford Branch Library, 205 S. Central Ave.
