Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Bryan Anthony Rahn, 30, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Rahn on charges of possession of methamphetamine, second-degree trespassing and a parole violation for first-degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
  • Assault, vehicle theft — Demetrice Darnell Moffett, 34, of the 1200 block of Twin Rock Drive, Central Point. Central Point police Tuesday arrested Moffett on charges of fourth-degree felony assault, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, strangulation, harassment, being a fugitive from Missouri and a probation violation for possession of marijuana. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Drugs — Matthew James Pearson, 24, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Pearson on charges of possession of methamphetamine, second-degree trespassing and a parole violation for possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Drugs, theft — Joseph Patrick Landers, 33, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Landers on charges of possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Vehicle theft — Kelly Patrick Gates, 37, no known address. Ashland police Tuesday arrested Gates on a charge of unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail on $5,000 bail.
  • Sodomy — Tylar Jordan Rossiter, 23, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Rossiter on two counts of first-degree sodomy. He was lodged in jail on $1 million bail.

Crime reports

  • Vandalism — 900 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 11:12 a.m. Monday of vandalism to a business sign. The loss was valued at $800.
  • Vandalism — 3400 block of Lone Pine Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:24 a.m. Monday of vandalism to an electrical transformer. The loss was valued at $8,000.
  • Theft — 4800 block of Airway Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 3:46 p.m. Monday of a theft of batteries, copper wire and scrap metal. The loss was valued at $1,210.
  • Theft — 3600 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report at 4:33 p.m. Tuesday of a theft from a motor vehicle during which a camera was taken. The loss was valued at $1,000.
  • Burglary — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 2:02 a.m. Tuesday of a burglary to a business during which four JBL speakers were taken. The loss was valued at $900.
  • Burglary — 2100 block of Roberts Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday of a burglary to a business during which surveillance equipment, a safe and duffle bag were taken. The loss was valued at $765.
  • Burglary — 1500 block of Terrace Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:54 a.m. Tuesday of a burglary to a residence during which miscellaneous NFL memorabilia was taken. The loss was valued at $1,625.
  • Theft — 400 block of Bowmont Circle, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10 a.m. Tuesday of a theft of four fishing poles and fishing equipment. The loss was valued at $2,500.
