    • Identity theft — Austin Jaymz Meyer, 19, of the 100 block of Brandon Street, Central Point. Meyer Thursday made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court for two counts of identity theft, two counts of second-degree forgery and third-degree theft. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.
    • Drugs — Elena Marie Jacobs, 35, of Grants Pass. Medford police Thursday arrested Jacobs on charges of possession of methamphetamine and third-degree theft. She was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on her own recognizance.
    • Theft — Tyson Alexander Manney, 23, of the 1600 block of Brookhurst Street, Medford. Manney Thursday made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on two counts of first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
    • Sex offender — Travis Edward Brook Goodman, 28, of the 700 block of Park Street, Ashland. Goodman Thursday made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on three counts of failure to register as a sex offender and probation violations on three counts of second-degree encouraging child sex abuse. He was booked into jail and released of his own recognizance.
    • Drugs — Cleatus William Bigelow, 23, of the 500 block of Franquette Street, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Bigelow on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail without bail.
    • Assault — Collin Anthony Malcolm, 36, of the first block of Kenwood Avenue, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Malcolm on charges of fourth-degree felony assault and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail and released after posting bail.
    Crime reports
    Theft — 900 block of Alba Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 3:17 a.m. Thursday of a theft from a motor vehicle during which a mattress was taken. The loss was valued at $4,000.
